Did you know that CapitolTrack's reports use the date that information was POSTED in our system, not necessarily the date on the bill text? For example, if you create a report on all bills introduced one day ago, it would display all introduced bills that were posted in CapitolTrack since 8:00 am yesterday.
Why is this a good thing? It means that you'll never miss a change when using CapitolTrack. Even if bill text is released a couple days late, our system knows you haven't seen the bill yet, and will display it on your report. We make sure you see every change that matters to you.
Did you know that there is no fee to enter events in our Political Fundraising Events Calendar? We provide this as a resource to our clients, and anyone is welcome to add events.
Want to add an event? Please contact us for instructions! Know someone who has an event? Please make sure they know about our calendar!

We had a request to do a post about "bills on water." That's a pretty broad topic, but here are some statistics on bills this session having to do with water.
Number of bills that contain the word "water" somewhere in the bill text: 528 Number of bills that affect some part of the Water Code: 108 Number of bills introduced in the X7 session on water: 25 Number of Asm members on a committee about water: 29 Number of Sen members on a committee about water: 12
Let us know if there are any statistics or "fun facts" you would like us to research and post!
